Children of Morta Character Profile: Yajouj’Majouj Minor character-background and ability spoilers. This is a researched breakdown, including player and reviewer observations, rather than a claim that I personally tested every setup. Yajouj’Majouj is the extra playable fighter from Ancient Spirits, and there is an important catch: Family Trials only. You aren't adding another character to the main campaign. The character's background draws on a tragic legend about a human and a goblin whose connection survives death. I'll keep the full story out of this so the gameplay discussion doesn't turn into a list of story spoilers. The main feature is two forms that change both basic and special attacks. For clarity, I'm going to call them green and orange, matching the visible forms described in hands-on coverage. I don't want to muddy this up by attaching an unverified ability name to the wrong attack. Here's the useful distinction. Green gives you a quicker projectile approach. Orange gives you explosives and a way to gather enemies. Switching between those tools is the character's main tactical idea. You don't need to treat the forms like separate characters that can never help each other. There's also a difference between a useful combination and a mandatory rotation. The game allows you to change forms as the situation changes. The question should be what the current enemies require, rather than how quickly you can press the switch button.
