Asva Thunderclap damages enemies while pushing them back and slowing them. Asva Pulse adds a slowing effect to her evade. Magic Glyph creates a damaging, slowing area around her. That gives several ways to interrupt the speed at which enemies close the distance. A sensible sequence is to attack from the staff's reach, use Thunderclap when a group threatens to close in, then reposition while they're slowed. It's a practical sequence based on her kit, not a guarantee that every enemy can be controlled in exactly the same way. Avoid treating knockback as something to cast automatically on cooldown. Pushing enemies away can rescue a dangerous position, but it may also move them away from an area where you or a partner wanted to keep dealing damage. Look at what the spell accomplishes in the actual encounter. Glyph asks for another decision. You want enemies inside the affected area, but you also need to survive being there. The shield from Guardian's Rage can provide a buffer before committing to that situation. It isn't proof you can stand still through whatever the room throws at you. If the fight has spread out, trying to force everything into Glyph may be worse than using the staff and movement to bring the encounter back under control. Let the available space decide which tool you use. Don't walk into a bad position merely because a particular ability is ready.
