Explosive Crescendo gives Linda an area attack. Harmonic Slam can stun nearby enemies after it's unlocked. Guardian's Rage increases attack speed, while Rain of Arrows adds another attack during Rage once available. That makes the setup before a burst important: you want to spend the burst attacking, not immediately running somewhere else. For a pack, let the enemies gather enough that an area attack has something useful to hit. There is no need to stand still and let them surround you to accomplish that. Draw the closest threats through an open lane, turn when you have space, and use the attack on the group you've created. Harmonic Slam is a way to interrupt danger near Linda. After a stun, choose between dealing damage and moving to safety. The correct answer depends on whether another enemy outside the affected group is still coming. A controlled group in front of you doesn't guarantee the rest of the room is controlled. For Rage against a boss, check whether the target is actually available to hit. Activating a burst immediately before it leaves range, changes phase, or begins an attack that sends you running can waste the opportunity. Saving it forever can waste opportunities too. Look for a window you understand, use it, and be ready to leave. Linda's combat has room for patience without becoming passive. Every time you move, you're setting up the next chance to fire. Every time you stop, you should have a reason to believe that position will last long enough to be useful.
