Children of Morta Character Profile: Linda Linda is John and Mary's eldest child and the musician of the household. That side of her carries through into abilities such as Explosive Crescendo and Harmonic Slam. Her weapon is a bow, and her combat revolves around deciding when to move and when it's safe to keep shooting. These posts combine her documented kit with player advice and practical ways to apply it. They aren't a claim that every suggestion is my personal build or that the same choices work equally well in every mode. Linda can fire while moving, but that spends stamina. Standing in a useful firing position avoids leaning constantly on that resource. The important distinction is between moving because a threat requires it and moving automatically because she's a ranged character. Before firing, look at the space behind you. A long retreat toward a wall can turn into a trap even if you haven't taken damage yet. Moving sideways into open ground may be more valuable than backing directly away from the closest enemy. Her normal shot also rewards having a clear target. If a group starts spreading around her, choose an angle that brings the next few threats into a readable line. Range gives you time to assess a room. Use that time to plan your next position, rather than waiting until enemies are already touching you to decide where to go.
