SCP-154: Offensive Bracelets
Object Class: Euclid
SCP-154 is a pair of bronze bracelets that turns the wearer's arm into ammunition.
Worn together on one arm, they create an incorporeal bow when the wearer concentrates and assumes an archery pose. Pulling and releasing an imaginary string fires the extended arm's bones at speeds exceeding three hundred meters per second.
The damaged arm regenerates, allowing another shot within minutes. That regeneration only repairs damage caused by the weapon. Both firing and recovery hurt, and subjects generally don't want to repeat the experience.
Repeated use also makes regeneration increasingly unpredictable. Minor changes can affect pigmentation or anatomy. More severe cases produce extra joints or fingers, or alter the limb's physical composition.
One subject's arm bones became an unstable explosive substance and detonated. Another developed a functioning snake-like arrangement of bone and muscle.
SCP-1884-B consented to testing and fired five shots in a minute using different arms. B requested a stop when SCP-1884-A became distressed by the pain.
The Foundation keeps the bracelets in an armed research site's weapon locker. Being able to grow the ammunition back clearly doesn't make the weapon safe to use.
