Arcane Acre: Grimm Fairy Tales #101–125, before V2
Spoiler note: I've finished GFT Vol. 1 through #125 and Realm War. I'm only partway through Wonderland #32, so I'm sticking to reading-order details for its later issues and the side stories. No V2 spoilers.
Arcane Acre is the final era of the original ongoing, beginning at #101 and ending at #125. Its focus is Sela, Belinda and Shang teaching the younger Highborn cast. The first school year occupies #101–112; #113 opens the second year. The four Arcane Acre trades divide the run into #101–106, #107–112, #113–118 and #119–125. I'm keeping this final V1 era separate from Age of Darkness. This covers the run-up through #124 and its endpoint at #125, rather than another ending recap. #125 is the original series finale, not the first issue of V2. [Zenescope #125 listing](https://t.co/D6PuDEqdPB)
MAIN READING ORDER
1. Finish Realm War #1–12 before beginning #101 if reading in story order. #101 is set one year after Realm War, even though both titles were being published at the same time. [Creator's #101 preview](https://t.co/kINylqdzi5)
2. Grimm Fairy Tales #101–102.
3. Optional early-school extras: Grimm Fairy Tales 2014 Halloween Special → 2014 Holiday Edition → 10th Anniversary Special #1: Snow White. Reading them after #102 is a practical insertion point, not a mandatory numbered crossover.
4. Grimm Fairy Tales #103–106.
5. Grimm Fairy Tales #107–112. Keep the end of this block together. The 10th Anniversary Special #5: Cinderella can go after #112 as an optional detour.
6. Grimm Fairy Tales #113–114.
7. Optional second-year detour: Snow White vs. Snow White #1–2; Realm Knights 2015 Annual → Realm Knights 2015 Giant-Size; Grimm Fairy Tales 2015 Halloween Special. The placement after #114 is a suggested story-order pause. The exact compulsory link within this group is the Realm Knights Annual followed by Giant-Size, which is advertised as part 2 of that story. 8. Grimm Fairy Tales #115–118.
9. Grimm Fairy Tales #119–124. This is the final stretch before the last issue.
10. Grimm Fairy Tales #125. Stop here for the original-series endpoint.
The optional special placements follow a reader-assembled chronology rather than an official line-wide checklist. They can also be read as catch-up stories after finishing V1. [Community chronology](https://t.co/lCCc6xDb1u)
WONDERLAND CROSSOVER MAP
The useful sequence is Grimm Fairy Tales vs. Wonderland #1–4 → Wonderland #26–31 → GFT #101–112, with Wonderland #32–39 running alongside that GFT block. Complete GFT #112 before continuing to Wonderland #40. After that, the remaining Wonderland branch is #40–50 → Wonderland: Finale.
I've already read the GFT half of that overlap, so I can pick Wonderland back up where I stopped in #32. I'm not getting into what happens from #33 onward or in Finale. If adding the 10th Anniversary Special #3: Alice in Wonderland, save it until after Finale. The 2015 Wonderland FCBD special is an optional companion, also collected with Wonderland Vol. 8. PARALLEL READING OPTIONS
These are catch-up branches, not prerequisites for every school arc. Read each mini in its own numerical order rather than interrupting GFT every month.
• Dark Shaman #1–4 and Masumi: Blades of Sin #1–4. Keep these as separate catch-up blocks. Dark Shaman's precise slot is not required to understand #101.
• Goddess Inc. #1–5, The Little Mermaid #1–5, and Coven #1–5. These can each be read as a complete mini.
• Robyn Hood (2014 ongoing) #1–6 → #7–12 → #13–16 → 2015 Holiday Special → #17–20 → 2016 Annual. Do not confuse this twenty-issue run with the earlier Origin/Wanted/Legend minis. [Robyn branch and trade map](https://t.co/b9FGyQXTKF)
• Helsing #1–4 belongs to the earlier buildup; Van Helsing vs. Dracula #1–5 is a later branch. Read those in that order.
• The six 2015 tenth-anniversary specials are individual character stories, not six chapters to insert consecutively into GFT: #1 Snow White, #2 Red Riding Hood, #3 Alice in Wonderland, #4 Death, #5 Cinderella, #6 Van Helsing. The Snow White, Cinderella and Alice insertion points are above. The other three can stay with their character branches; there is no need to read all six back-to-back.
• The Jungle Book: Fall of the Wild #1–5 follows the earlier Jungle Book minis. Oz: Reign of the Witch Queen #1–6 follows Warlord of Oz #1–6. Keep those branch orders when catching up.
TRADE ROUTE AND THE STOPPING POINT
Arcane Acre Vol. 1 = #101–106; Vol. 2 = #107–112; Vol. 3 = #113–118; Vol. 4 = #119–125. Use those four trades or the twenty-five singles. An Arcane Acre omnibus covering #101–125 duplicates the same main run. The annuals, holiday stories and parallel minis are additional reading.
I'm stopping this guide at the end of the original series. Apocalypse #1–5 and the Genesis specials belong in a separate transition list, before getting into V2.
