14/14 That's why I put the Brood so high among the enemies the X-Men have faced up to where I've read. They can get inside people before anybody understands what's happening, and the person's own abilities can become part of what makes the resulting threat so dangerous. The physical changes are awful enough. Add the uncertainty over who is still themselves, whether somebody can be saved, and what happens if the infection spreads, and the team has a much bigger problem than winning the next fight. And Wolverine's survival is still the moment that stands out to me most. He took that infection, went through the beginning of that change, and his healing factor killed the thing inside him. I don't want that reduced to just saying he couldn't get infected, because he absolutely could. He got infected and survived it. That's what makes the feat so bad ass.
