The ending in #166 brings those pieces together. The Acanti's imprisoned racial soul has to be freed, and Binary provides the power that makes that possible. When it is released, it purges the remaining embryos from the infected X-Men and crystallizes the Queen.
So Wolverine's healing factor isn't the explanation for everybody surviving. He fought off his own infection. Storm dealt with hers separately. The others needed the intervention that came from freeing the Acanti soul.
That distinction matters because the story gives us several very different escapes from the same threat. None of them makes implantation something harmless or easy to undo.
Broodworld is destroyed in the aftermath, and the characters have to live with the scale of that destruction too. There is relief in surviving, but the story doesn't leave them with a neat, comfortable victory where nothing about the outcome needs to bother them.
