17/ Uncanny X-Men #231 gives her another encounter with Piotr, but she thinks she's summoned his ghost. He gets to help and comfort her while she still believes he's dead. Afterward, she considers using the spell again to keep him with her. She knows what that would cost her, and she doesn't do it. Think about how much she wants her brother back at that point. The story gives her an apparent way to have him and then makes her decide whether to use it. That's another part of her struggle that works for me.
