12/ Then there's Darkchilde. The horns, the changes to her body, the armor, and the way Limbo responds to her make her internal struggle visible. It can get ugly. New Mutants #30 puts Kitty in the position of having to reach Illyana when she becomes dangerous to the people around her. Kitty gets through to her, but that doesn't permanently fix everything. They still have to live with the possibility of it happening again. That's part of the duality I like about Magik. She can care about these people and still frighten them.
