9/ Her mutant ability and her sorcery also aren't interchangeable. The stepping discs are her mutant power. They take her through Limbo, and the time differences there make them a lot more complicated than an ordinary trip from one location to another. Early on, she can get the time or destination wrong. Her sorcery is something she learned, and her command of it is much greater in Limbo than it is on Earth. So even with everything she can do, she isn't automatically in control of every situation. The place she rules is also the place her teammates have to pass through when she's transporting them. That's a hell of a responsibility to put on somebody her age.
