8/ The ending of the miniseries is important because defeating Belasco still leaves her with a choice. She has the power to kill him. She doesn't. She recognizes what giving herself over to that would mean, and she refuses to finish becoming what he wanted. She takes control of Limbo and eventually returns to the X-Men. That doesn't make her untouched by any of it. The bloodstones, the magic, and the demonic changes are still part of her story. She's won a way out, but she's carrying a lot with her.
