5/ Storm and Cat give her different ways of surviving. Storm still has a place for life and growth in that world. Her garden and the magic she teaches Illyana offer something beyond what Belasco wants for her. Cat is much harsher. She teaches Illyana to fight and survive, and she's deeply suspicious of sorcery after what she's seen it do. Neither one can give Illyana a normal childhood. They can't even agree on how to help her. Cat takes her away from Storm, and an attempt to escape ends with Belasco deceiving them again. It's a nasty situation for a child. Even when somebody genuinely wants to help, that doesn't mean they're able to get her out. [Magik #2](https://t.co/5wbBxnTJUF)
