3/ Uncanny X-Men #160 is where her life gets completely fucked up. The X-Men encounter Belasco in Limbo and try to get everybody out. Kitty reaches for Illyana. They almost have her. Then Belasco gets her, and the child they were trying to rescue comes back as a teenager. Only moments have passed for the X-Men. Illyana has lived through seven years. That means everyone else is catching up to something that's already happened to her. They didn't experience those years. They don't have her memories. They see the result before they understand what happened, and the Magik miniseries takes us into that missing part of her life. [Origin and chronological setup](https://t.co/dGOhUR5XAV)
