The Beyonder pushes Rachel toward a terrible decision in Uncanny #203. She becomes willing to destroy the universe to get rid of him and have it recreated without his threat. From her position, she sees a way to end something unbearable. Everybody else has to live with what she's deciding for them. Her teammates push back, and she ultimately stops instead of carrying the plan through. That matters because Rachel's fear has a real basis, but the scale of her power means she can endanger far more than whoever she thinks is responsible. She can be trying to prevent another catastrophe and get close to causing one herself. There's no simple instruction somebody can give her that makes all of that safe. She needs people willing to challenge her, and she needs to be able to hear them. Having survived one ruined world doesn't give her the right to decide the fate of everybody in another one.
