Storm becomes one of the most important people in Kitty's life almost immediately. Kitty trusts her, looks up to her and gets attached enough that changes in Ororo's life affect her personally. Her reaction to Storm's new appearance says a lot about how young she still is. She has an idea of who Storm should be and struggles when Storm stops fitting it. Nightcrawler takes longer.
