SPOILERS for the X-Men and Wolverine movies, including Logan and Deadpool & Wolverine.
Wolverine's healing factor gets him through some ridiculous injuries in the movies. It also fails to protect him from things people sometimes assume it would handle automatically.
I'm keeping this separate from the comic examples. The original films, the history changed by Days of Future Past, Logan's future and the other Wolverine in Deadpool & Wolverine all need their own context. Using the same actor doesn't make every injury a controlled test of one fixed set of rules.
The useful questions are what happened to him, what condition he was in, and what he actually recovered from. Getting back up after being shot is one thing. Growing back his memories, replacing adamantium or surviving indefinitely without air would each need their own evidence.
Some of those differences are right there in the movies. Others are things the movies never settle.
