In #6, after Logan beats Ogun, Kitty gets the opportunity to execute him. She takes up the sword, then stops. Logan has deliberately brought her to that decision. She needed to know she could refuse. There's a lot to be uncomfortable with there. He's asking a traumatized kid to confront something horrible at extremely close range. But the result he wants is her own judgment coming through, instead of Ogun's. Then Ogun attacks again, and Logan kills him while protecting Kitty. Kitty also helps Logan understand what he's done. He's afraid that needing his savage side to win proves something awful about him. She points to the control he kept and the risks he took for her. He helped her recognize herself. She can recognize something in him that he's having trouble seeing.
