There are a couple of things from Wolverine's earlier X-Men issues that deserve more attention than they got in the first thread. Especially the Proteus fight and the change to the brown costume. The Proteus story gives you a good look at how Logan's abilities work together. His senses help him find the threat, his adamantium saves him from one kind of attack, and then he's still completely out of his depth when Proteus starts changing reality around him. So even as we're learning more about what Wolverine can do, we're also seeing situations where those abilities aren't enough. He has to deal with being frightened and needing help from the same teammates he spends so much time arguing with.
