The 2009 Wonderland Annual has a new family move into the house. The Liddles are gone, but the house is still possessed, and the old looking glass is still involved.
These people haven't agreed to anything with Wonderland. They weren't there for what happened to Calie and Alice. They've moved into the same house, and now they're exposed to what's still in it.
So you don't have to be a Liddle to get caught up in this part of the story. The family name explains why we're following the house in the first place, but the problems there continue with the next people who live in it.
That also explains why the house gets its own stories instead of just disappearing once Calie gets out. She has her daughter and Wonderland to deal with elsewhere. Meanwhile, someone else can move into her old home without knowing what they're getting into. The annual follows what happens to that new household.
