The Liddle house is still dangerous after Calie leaves. That gets picked up in House of Liddle, where other people end up dealing with the place after the family is gone.
Back in the original books, Calie is living there with Alice, Lewis and Johnny. The way into Wonderland is right there beneath their home. The looking glass is involved too. So the family has a connection to Wonderland in the house they're living in, whether everybody understands that or not.
When the annuals come back to the house, they follow people who don't have Calie's experience with it. Some move in. Some live nearby. Some decide to go inside and look around.
The Liddles leaving hasn't taken Wonderland out of the property. That's what I wanted to go through here, because the house keeps showing up after the family has moved on to other problems.
