By Wonderland #26, Calie is the White Queen. She's trying to get the madness out of what used to be the Realm of Dreams. The White Rabbit is her adviser, and the Cheshire Cat is her guard. That's how far she's gotten from Return to Wonderland. She went in there without knowing what she was walking into. Now she's responsible for the place, and she's still got Violet to worry about while she's doing it. There's a lot between those two points, including the bigger events that cross into these books. But that's the part of Calie's history I wanted to connect here. Henry's experiment opens the way, Dodgson's deal brings the family into it, Alice comes back with problems nobody around her understands, and Calie eventually ends up trying to run Wonderland herself. She's got a chance to change things now. She's also inherited a whole lot of problems that were there before she was born.
