Alice wasn't the first person to get mixed up with Wonderland. There was already a connection to Earth before her, and some of the people she and Calie run into had lives here before they ended up over there. Then you've got Charles Dodgson making a deal that gets members of his own family dragged into it. Alice grows up and has kids, and those kids end up dealing with it too. By the time we get to Violet, we've followed this through Alice, Calie and Calie's daughter. So I wanted to go back through how all of that happened. There's the experiment that opened a doorway, the deal Dodgson made, and then what happened to the Liddles after Alice came home. I'm keeping this to the original trilogy, the older Tales material and the earlier part of the ongoing series. There are spoilers for those books.
