2/10 Winning hasn't made Lucinda and Malec a happy couple. She has the throne, and he is increasingly treated like someone serving her instead of ruling beside her. He starts looking for a way to change that. Venus has plans of her own, with Andre Payne under her influence. Andre is Hercules, another son of Zeus. He isn't Zagreus from Ascension, even though both characters bring Zeus's family into these events. Then there's Robyn. She was one of the Realm Knights, and now she's working for the Queen. Sela and Britney are facing someone who knows their side of this fight because she used to be on it. Her place in the Child of Darkness prophecy gives Lucinda more reason to keep her close. Nobody on the winning side seems content to leave things alone. Malec wants his position back, Venus is working her own angles, and the Queen has to keep control of people who would gladly take more if she gave them the chance.
