8/8 The main series can make this part confusing if you're following publication order. Grimm Fairy Tales #101 jumps a year ahead after #100 and begins the Arcane Acre direction, while Realm War was still coming out alongside it. For the central story, the route is #100, then Realm War #1–12, then the situation introduced in #101. The final page of Realm War #12 actually sends readers to #101 to continue Sela's story. That explains why the main book can already be dealing with a school and a new group of young Highborn while Realm War is still showing the Queen's conquered world. The books are not all taking place at the same moment just because they were on the shelves together. I'm stopping at that setup here. There's no need to jump ahead through the later Arcane Acre stories to finish talking about this event. #100 gives us the Queen's victory, Realm War gives us the war and its ending, and #101 shows where Sela goes next.
