4/8 Sela starts #100 needing someone to save her. Malec has orders to kill her, and Baba Yaga steps in. That puts two women with plenty of history between them on the same side of a fight they cannot afford to lose. Shang, Britney Waters, Andre Payne and Gideon are also trying to reach the Queen. Jessica Ciampo helps locate her, while the others make the direct approach. They are pulling together whoever can still help, including people who would not normally be Sela's first choice. Baba Yaga's intervention doesn't make her past with Sela disappear. It gets Sela out of a situation she wasn't getting out of on her own. Whatever else lies between them, Lucinda's plan is a problem neither can ignore. There is a lot riding on a small group by this point. They still have powerful people with them, but they don't have the freedom to regroup forever. The Queen is ready to act, and every obstacle between them and her buys her more time.
