5/6 The Mistress of Limbo has a personal reason to go after Venus because of what Venus did to her family. She finally makes her move. Venus defeats her and leaves her behind. Being involved in the same plan hasn't settled that history or made either one willing to forgive it. Meanwhile, Britney takes the Mandersoon into the rescue effort and reaches Samantha in Wonderland. The villains have already taken the magical power they wanted from her, but Britney is still coming to get her out. Losing that power hasn't made Samantha someone her friends are willing to leave there. By this point, you can see how differently the two groups treat someone who's in trouble. Samantha needs help, and the others keep trying to reach her. On the villains' side, old grudges and the chance to gain power keep winning out. The Mistress of Limbo's defeat leaves her discarded by someone who was supposed to be part of the same undertaking.
