6/6 Baba Yaga takes the gem. Belinda sends Sinbad back to Lagos and removes his memories of their involvement. The two women leave with what they came for, and Sinbad doesn't even get to keep the full picture of what happened to him. Acacia escapes too. At the end, she reanimates his dead crew and sets off after him. The attack on Caracas has been stopped, but she's still using the people he lost. He's left that confrontation behind without getting clear of the threat she poses to him. This is part of the history Sinbad carries before his regular adventures with a new ship and new companions. Losing the earlier crew makes starting again mean something. Baba's pursuit of the Dark One has also pulled her into what happened to these people, but she gets to leave with the power she wanted. Sinbad is left with the loss, missing memories, and Acacia still coming after him.
