4/6 Once Sinbad gets Acacia through the dangerous passage and she obtains the means to control a much bigger monster, she breaks the deal. She orders his own crew to kill him. He's done what she asked, and she has no intention of giving his people back. Baba Yaga and Belinda step in. Belinda helps keep Sinbad in the fight, but Baba is after the power Acacia has acquired. Their help gets him through the immediate danger. It doesn't mean they've shown up to put his crew first. They're still pursuing their own plan against the Dark One. Sinbad also has to face what's happened to his friends. He remembers who they were, but Acacia is controlling the bodies attacking him. She used his loyalty to get him to sail for her. Now that same loyalty makes it harder for him to fight back. He can't approach them as though they've simply come home and will recognize him if he keeps trying.
