4/6 Mercy's search takes her to a priest she killed while she was alive. She's already trying to deal with being dead and finding her way through the Inferno. Now she's face-to-face with someone who ended up there after she killed him. Remembering her past was only the beginning of having to deal with it. She also meets a blind man who gives her a watch. It helped him hold onto his sanity, and he passes it on to her. In a place like this, staying able to think and care about something takes effort too. Mercy has plenty of experience surviving a fight, but she needs more than that to keep going here. Then she finds the real Grace, her sister. Mercy has been living under Grace's identity without understanding it, and now she learns Grace is suffering in the Inferno too. Sela sent her to rescue one person. Finding her sister changes that. Mercy isn't going to leave her behind just because she wasn't part of the assignment.
