1/4 For dwarves in Grimm Fairy Tales, Bolder and Blagg offer a useful contrast. They're brothers, but their place in the story could hardly be more different. Bolder becomes one of Sela's companions in Myst. Blagg's actions help create the tragedy behind Morrigan becoming Death. The starting point is the original Grimm Fairy Tales #53, The Fairy and the Dwarf. Sela is trying to recover her husband's soul, and the story connects that quest to an older disaster involving a princess, a royal guard, and a dwarf who sees an opportunity for himself.
