4/4 Belle changes course after seeing Wendy's love for her adopted children. She fights back against Pan and later uses her magic to bring the Earth-based heroes back to New York. The ability that helped Pan prey on another world becomes part of the resistance against him. Put Belle beside Nissa and the recurring danger becomes clear: powerful people want control of what fairies can do. Their wings are the immediately recognizable feature, but their portal magic has enormous consequences. Who controls that magic, and whether the fairy has any real freedom in using it, can change the fate of people far beyond her own realm.
