12. Helios and the broader mythological world
Helios is another important figure to distinguish from the central Godstorm family. His story in Myths & Legends involves a destructive power that makes ordinary intimacy disastrous. His burning nature turns a relationship into tragedy, and his grief feeds a path of destruction through Myst.
The effort to contain him involves the Council of the Five Realms and the Sunstone of Ra. That already places him in Grimm Fairy Tales' own wider mythology, where different legendary traditions and the realms intersect.
He should not be treated as just another name to insert into a standard Olympian family chart. His story has its own history, magical objects, and consequences. It also extends one of the larger themes of the gods' stories: possessing enormous power does not mean being able to live safely with the people you care about.
