11/18 The Hunger and the werewolf bikers in Hellchild also serve different purposes. Charlotte's story foregrounds infection and victimization. The bikers show werewolves operating as a recognizable group within the wider supernatural world. Those examples shouldn't be forced into one identical character type. Becoming a werewolf, choosing to hurt someone, and belonging to a violent group are different things. The circumstances matter. I'm also keeping the mechanics tied to what these stories establish rather than importing a complete set of moon, silver, and transformation rules from unrelated werewolf fiction. Familiar creatures don't automatically mean identical rules across every universe.
