9/18

9/18 Roman's response is ruthless. He kills infected people while following the beast. Calling him the werewolf hunter tells you his role; it does not settle the morality of every decision he makes. That is where the human cost comes in. Someone can become dangerous through an attack they never chose. Roman sees a threat that needs to be eliminated, while the reader can still recognize the victim inside that situation. His methods make the pursuit brutal in a way that goes beyond the werewolf attacks themselves. The person pursuing the monster can create his own kind of terror.
