WULF Wulf makes sure people know about his Olympic gold medals almost as soon as he introduces himself. He is physically imposing, confident and comfortable taking up space. Even the question he asks the teachers is about dinner, rather than anything solemn about their training. He and Hailey are already flirting, and he seems much more at ease socially than Skye or Ali. That confidence is part of his first impression, but the lamp incident shows its dangerous side. He takes the lamp from Ali's bag after hearing it whisper during their journey. Instead of recognizing that he might be dealing with something he doesn't understand, he speculates about its value and shows it to Hailey. That is a specific early mistake, rather than a reason to pretend we already know everything about who he is. He has accomplishments and confidence, but neither makes him automatically considerate or careful. Arcane Acre's training has to address what he does with his abilities and his curiosity, not just whether he is impressive enough to be there.
