ROBYN LOCKSLEY Robyn's story starts with someone who has very little security, support or control over what happens to her. The move into Myst doesn't give her a peaceful escape. It places her in another struggle against people willing to use power cruelly. Her skill with a bow becomes part of how she fights back, and the Merry Men give that fight a collective purpose. She becomes a figure people can rally behind while still carrying her own reasons to be angry and her own desire to find a way home. The original miniseries ends with the rebellion in Bree and her confrontation with King John and Guy of Gisbourne. That is the early context for this group: a resistance fighting for its town, with Robyn becoming its most recognizable face.
