ROBYN AND THE EARLY MERRY MEN Robyn's early Merry Men belong to the struggle for Bree in Myst, before the later Nottingham Investigations setup. The group brings together Robyn, Little John, Will Scarlet, Friar Tuck and Much. Their place in the story is a rebellion against King John. The king's tournament is intended to draw Robyn out, but she and the resistance approach it as an opportunity to act. By Wanted, Bree has become Nottingham, and Robyn and the Merry Men's stand against the king has made her a local folk hero. There is an important difference between that public image and Robyn's experience. The people see a hero. She is still trying to navigate a life split between Earth and Myst, with violence and loss following her across both.
