DRUANNA

DRUANNA Druanna is Tallus's High Priestess, and her connection to nature reaches back to her identity as Gaia. That history makes the limits on her power especially significant. Her connection has been damaged, and the Orb of Olan serves as a reduced substitute for what she once had. She intervenes when the city turns against Sela's company, even though doing so costs her. The garden she has cultivated cannot simply restore everything she spends. Her role in the defense combines judgment and ability. She protects people whom the city is ready to sacrifice, then helps Sela use power Sela cannot safely direct alone. Druanna's experience matters as much as the amount of magic available to her.
