I still have more gaming history I want to talk about. That last thread was about the systems I grew up on and the ones I've played over the years, but one thing I didn't get into much was PC gaming. My PC gaming goes back to DOS and Windows 3.1. I spent a lot of time on those, and I've kept playing on PC through the years, right up to the Windows 11 PC I have now. I've always been a PC gamer as well as a console gamer. I've never understood the arguments where people fight over which console somebody plays on. I play all of them. Consoles, PC, whatever I'm in the mood for. That includes the Vita back in the day and both the original Switch and Switch 2. I just play a lot of different games. That's probably enough rambling about the systems for now. I want to get into some of the games, because when I talk about being an old-school gamer, there's a lot behind that. Some of my favorites were all the Super Mario Bros. games, all the Zelda games starting with the original, GTA 1 and 2, the older Final Fantasy games, Phantasy Star, Chrono Cross, Chrono Trigger, Tales of Symphonia, Tales of Destiny 1 and 2, Tales of Phantasia, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and Nobunaga's Ambition. Then there's Perfect Dark, Majora's Mask, Secret of Evermore, and Suikoden 1 through 3. I've played all of those, and they're still only a few examples. There are so many games I could put in here. There's probably not a game out there that I haven't tried, played, or at least heard of. That passion for gaming has stayed with me all the way into the games I'm playing now.
