Britney Waters gives HiboCorp a face we've already spent time with. Her work as Agent Red puts her into an organized response to supernatural threats, with assignments and an agency behind her. Code Red brings her into conflict with the Dark Horde, including the effort to recover the Eye of the Cyclops after Borlock steals it. Robyn becomes involved too, which means Red's agency work still intersects with the relationships and characters outside that structure. The important distinction for this thread is that Red is an operative working for HiboCorp. Her own history and the agency's purpose overlap, but they aren't interchangeable. When she goes into danger, she's still the person taking that risk, regardless of how the mission was organized. And when she becomes involved in helping Sela, the personal connections matter alongside whatever instructions or official position the organization has. That's where the agency stories become more interesting to follow: the people doing the work still have loyalties and judgment of their own.
