Back in Sasau, deal with the men harassing Johanka. Ask who sent them before simply chasing them away. Learning where the hostility came from gives you something useful to raise later. Resolve the confrontation without turning the monastery into another crime scene.
Bonum Commune then sends you after Pavel of Kolin’s hidden money. Listen to his directions at the Wagoners’ Inn, follow the route into the woods, and search the ruined settlement. Cumans occupy the area, so scout before walking in. Sneaking through also keeps the Like a Ghost achievement available if you recover the treasure without being detected.
Return with Pavel’s dagger and the money. Discuss the donation with him. He has objections to the monastery, so don’t decide to send it there behind his back and expect him to be grateful. Either persuade him first or use a recipient he accepts. Donate the money in Pavel’s name, then tell him what you did.
After the later sermon and confrontation, Johanka sends Henry on the pilgrimage in The Wicket Gate. Follow the prayer objectives to Uzhitz, pray inside the church, and speak with Father Godwin about the donation and Johanka. Get his promised Matthew of Janow manuscript and read it. Keep it for the trial.
