Theresa’s POV also gives the relationship with Henry more context. She already knows him before the attack. You see her family, friendships, responsibilities and losses, then return to the woman helping him recover at the mill. There is a lot happening in her life outside whatever Henry is doing, and the romance makes more sense with that background. For the playable relationship afterward, Courtship is the original base-game quest. You do not have to finish her DLC story to begin it. Nightingale points you toward her during Keeping the Peace, and Henry can also begin thinking about visiting her after Awakening. Go to the Rattay mill before noon and ask her for a walk. Choose the riverside outing, follow her and talk when you stop together. Then let a few in-game days pass until the journal prompts you to visit again. The next outing is the tavern. Follow her there, enjoy the conversation and dancing, then handle the drunk who interrupts with your fists rather than drawing a weapon. Walk her home afterward. After the next waiting period, visit again for blind man’s bluff. Follow the scene in the barn, help collect the laundry when the rain starts, and return inside. That concludes the original Courtship sequence.
