Aftermath is where I would slow down again. You can rush toward Skalitz and finish the story, but there are survivors outside town who still need help. Follow Tinker to Holba and speak with him to open Angel of Mercy, the optional survivor-search quest. This is separate from the similarly named achievement tied to Johanka. Finish these searches before entering the walled town. Entering too early can cut off the remaining rescue work. At the potter’s place, help Stanislav get into his house and recover his savings, then be ready for the looter who threatens him. In the woods, Marosh is searching for Pavlena. Let Tinker help you find her and return with the news. You cannot rescue everyone, even when you follow the objectives correctly. At the woodcutters’ camp, Julian needs persuading to leave. If talking gets you nowhere, collect his axe from the stump under the nearby lean-to and give it to him. He will then agree to leave. Jarmila is hiding from a deserter, so deal with that threat and return to tell her she can leave. Once you’ve finished the survivor objectives you want to complete, continue into Skalitz. The conclusion connects Theresa’s experience back to Henry’s opening story. That finishes her playable section and returns you to the main game.
