Here’s the recipe without having to decode it:
Use wine as the base. Grind one poppy, one thistle and one St. John’s wort. Add the ground herbs to the cauldron, boil for one turn, let it cool, then bottle directly from the cauldron. No distilling. All three herbs need grinding; you can grind them together. Use the finished item at the bathhouse objective, not as something for Henry to drink.
Once the village is frightened enough, Felix and his friends become the remaining problem. Ask the gossip about them and speak to the Charlatan again. One friend fears animals and the other fears fire.
Find the odd-sounding dog and practice until Henry learns the bark. Bring a bow and enough arrows for the hanging lantern as well. Save before challenging Felix at the tavern, because that conversation moves you into the nighttime scene.
At the campsite, get close enough for the barking interaction to work. Use the horse-whistle control and wait for the sore-throat cooldown between attempts. Three barks frighten away the animal-fearing friend.
