At the camp, you have a few ways to get the necklace. You do not have to win the dice tournament just to finish this part of Hans’s quest. The straightforward tournament route is to speak to Old Blaha, enter and work through the opponents. Bring your better dice if you have them. Winning gives you access to the prize chest, which contains the necklace. Check the actual chest afterward. Finishing the games and collecting the item are separate steps. If you don’t want to play dice, the necklace can be stolen. Look around the building where the games take place for the guarded passage and the room holding the prizes. The chest has a Very Hard lock, so this is only a convenient shortcut if Henry can handle it. Old Blaha also carries a key that can be pickpocketed. Getting a key still leaves you with the guard to avoid, so save first and watch his movements rather than assuming the room will be empty at a particular hour. There’s also a negotiation route involving Sir Erhart. Be careful with it: revealing Anselm’s location has consequences for him and can cut off the investigation. If your goal is simply recovering the necklace without gambling, stealing it avoids having to trade away Anselm to get it.
