The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon starts with Hans wanting help with a girl and somehow turns into recovering stolen jewelry, investigating a murder, and helping a charlatan convince an entire village that it’s haunted. I’m working through the DLC now, and those two bigger quests are what I wanted to break down here. This covers the full route, including the ending. Start by talking to Hans at his DLC marker. The normal route is through his earlier quests, Next to Godliness and Robber Baron. There are alternate triggers if Next to Godliness failed or you’ve reached the Epilogue, so don’t assume a different point in the main story has locked you out. Honeyed Words is the overall quest. Game of Throws handles the necklace, and No Rest for the Wicked is the longer route to getting his potion. For the necklace, speak to the dice player at the Ledetchko inn. He already lost it to somebody else. Follow that lead northwest of the Sasau monastery, where Sir Anselm is investigating Sir Alphonse’s death. Examine the body, the discarded clothing and the campfire, including the scorched map. Talk through Anselm’s information before heading into the bandits’ camp. You’re borrowing a dead man’s identity, and knowing his business helps.
