9/9 Madison Jeffries stops the escape

9/9 Madison Jeffries stops the escape Courtney's attempt to recover Smart Alec turns Shaman's pouch inside out, releasing a spreading void. The trap has become dangerous to the people who set it, and Omega Flight flees. Jeffries stops the escape outside the mall. He says Courtney never even tried to recruit him. Her fear when he arrives makes the likely reason easy to see: his ability to reshape machinery could take her apart. She has brought together his former Gamma Flight colleagues while leaving him out. He does exactly that. Courtney is dismantled, and the surviving human members are left for the police. There is a useful contrast with Roger Bochs here. Two people from the old programme refuse the direction Jaxon and Courtney wanted it to take. Roger tries to expose the scheme from within; Madison intervenes when he understands what has happened. Disappointment with Department H did not lead everybody to the same decision. Omega Flight leaves a much bigger wound than its small roster suggests. The first attack kills Guardian as the team knows him. The second offers him back and then tears that promise away. For Alpha Flight, defeating these enemies does very little to restore the life that existed before they arrived. https://t.co/xaLvxWSXKc https://t.co/PXkvJTPbOE
