4/9 Diamond Lil is difficult to hurt, not impossible to beat Lillian Crawley's durability gives Omega Flight someone who can get close and stay there. Her own body is the protection. Even her hair can become a weapon. In the first fight, she uses a strand to choke Snowbird. Narya is already weakened by being outside Canada, so this is a particularly cruel matchup. Lil is dangerous enough without meeting someone whose connection to her homeland has just become a physical liability. Shaman gets around Lil's durability with mystical attacks. That helps establish the limits without making the power look useless. Her mind remains vulnerable. Her return also brings Madison Jeffries into focus. They knew each other in Gamma Flight and had been involved romantically. When he turns up at the mall, Lil is surprised because she thought he was dead. That history interrupts the easy image of a wall of villains. Jeffries knows somebody behind the costume and believes she has been manipulated. He still stops her. Familiarity gives him a reason to intervene, rather than a reason to pretend the harm never happened. https://t.co/f2yasDdU6G
