6. Black Raazer brings something supernatural into the fight

6. Black Raazer brings something supernatural into the fight Black Raazer is the sword-wielding supernatural presence in this lineup. Alongside the wind and fog powers, his enchanted blade gives Desert Sword another kind of threat at close range. He is also the person who reinforces the hold over Arabian Knight. When the Knight hesitates, Raazer makes sure he remembers the hostages. That tells us something about how the team stays together. It is possible for five people to cooperate effectively without trust or loyalty holding all five in place. During the fight with Blob, Raazer and the Knight are dangerous enough to injure him. Blob is enormously tough, but this is not a scene where his durability means he can ignore what is happening. He has to fight back, and he turns their weapons against them. Raazer withstands that encounter differently from the Knight. His supernatural nature matters in a fight where serious injuries are already determining who can escape and who cannot. There is a temptation with a character like this to stop the story and explain every piece of magical history connected to him. For this spotlight, the useful point is what he contributes here: a blade, a body that does not respond to injury like an ordinary person's, and a willingness to enforce the team's coercion. That is enough to make him a distinct part of this particular roster without wandering outside the annuals. https://t.co/nfEaKzNTXW
